In 2008, the 31st edition of the Dakar is played for the first time on South American soil. And in its 33rd edition of 2011 (the 1st to January 16th), three provinces of Argentina have lengthened the course. The departure was made from B uenos Aires.
The Post-Argentina has issued several stamps for the occasion in December 2010 showing not only the fight that led the pilots aboard their craft and the atmosphere that reigns there, but 4 of the series on the different landscapes that meet the drivers.
